S.T.E.P., Inc. was founded in 1993, and has remained dedicated to serving both professional/technical job seekers and firms. Over 50 years of collective experience have gained us a strong grasp of the industry and the ability to elicit worth referrals. We feel that in locating and offering personnel resources for the infrastructure industry, S.T.E.P., Inc. is providing a valuable service to the ever-expanding community.

After more than 35 years of developing our client list, S.T.E.P., Inc. is now the leading employment consultant firm for the Delaware Valley and has over 2,000 client companies spanning the Mid-Atlantic region.

In April 2003, S.T.E.P., Inc. developed its own original product called LookFirst that promoted its original goal of maintaining its employment stronghold in the infrastructure industry. The LookFirst.net technology allowed S.T.E.P., Inc’s client companies and applicants to see each other (without actually meeting) and answer a series of questions about their requirements or qualifications. S.T.E.P., Inc. successfully brought this technology to the market through the creation of hundreds of Video Resumés and Video Job Opportunities. LookFirst.net caused the number of S.T.E.P., Inc.’s successful placements to skyrocket.

In 2013 S.T.E.P., Inc. expanded its virtual capabilities by developing its online accessibility for both job seekers and employers.

In 2015, we expanded our market beyond the Mid-Atlantic region to the entire east coast.
